The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northern Jackson County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 1245 AM CDT

* At 1049 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms continuing to slowly move across the area. Radar
  estimates up to two inches of rain has fallen quickly in the past
  hour from North Spring to Whitleyville to Burristown. This will
  cause minor flooding in the advisory area, especially in valleys,
  near creeks and streams, and in other low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Gainesboro and Whitleyville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
