JACKSON...EASTERN CLAY...NORTHERN PUTNAM AND FENTRESS COUNTIES UNTIL
530 PM CDT...

At 451 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Byrdstown to 8 miles east of Carthage. Movement
was east at 45 mph.

Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Livingston, Jamestown, Gainesboro, Byrdstown, Algood,
Monterey, Allardt, Grimsley, Rickman, Pall Mall, Wolf River Dock,
Clarkrange, Crawford, Pickett State Park and Standing Stone State
Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
