...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EASTERN DAVIDSON...SOUTHERN
SUMNER AND NORTHWESTERN WILSON COUNTIES UNTIL 445 PM CDT...

At 405 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Madison, or 8 miles northeast of Nashville, moving east at 30 mph.
Other strong storms were developing across the area as well.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Gallatin, Lebanon, Nashville, Madison, Hendersonville, Mount Juliet,
Goodlettsville, Millersville, Oak Hill, Lakewood, Hermitage, Rural
Hill, Belinda City, Old Hickory, Berry Hill, Bledsoe Creek State
Park, Percy Priest Lake and Gladeville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If on or near Old Hickory Lake, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
