This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
Isolated to scattered light snow showers will move across
the mid state remainder of this evening. In the Upper Cumberland
Region, some light snowfall accumulations of up to a half inch
in the most northern portions of this area will be possible
before the snowfall potential ends around midnight tonight.
Gusty winds of up to 30 mph will be possible during the evening
hours. This will help out in evaporating any left over moisture
from area roadways. However, in some isolated locations shaded
from these wind gusts, left over moisture may remain. With
temperatures expected to fall to well below freezing tonight,
black ice formation could be possible in these locations.
Some area river flooding will continue through the night.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday
Some area river flooding will continue at least through
Christmas Day.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed.
