...The National Weather Service in Nashville, TN has issued a flood advisory for
the following rivers in Middle Tennessee...

  Richland Creek Above Pulaski AFFECTING Giles County

.Several hours of rainfall have caused Richland Creek Above Pulaski to rise
near and then quickly above Action Stage. With another 1 to 2 inches of rain
possible, the creek may remain high into Saturday morning. It will be closely
monitored for increases over the next several hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* Flood Advisory for
  The Richland Creek Above Pulaski
* At 11PM Friday the stage was 15.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* The river will continue to rise to near 19.5 feet after midnight tomorrow.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Vales Mill Rd between Chicken Creek Rd and the
  Highway 64 bypass become inundated and may be subject to closure
* At 16.0 feet...Flooding of low lying agricultural land along the river begins
