* Until 1130 PM CDT
* At 832 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated rain that will cause urban
and small stream flooding in the advisory area. Up to three inches
of rain have already fallen over parts of the area today, and
another one half to 1 inch could fall this evening.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dickson, Waverly, Centerville, Camden, Erin, Linden, New
Johnsonville, McEwen, Tennessee Ridge, Hurricane Mills, Lobelville,
Vanleer, Cumberland City, Slayden, Palmyra, I-40 Near The Tennessee
River, Bucksnort, Mousetail Landing State Park, Pinewood and
Pleasantville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
