.Heavy rain that caused the river to rise above action stage has ended and
the river has fallen below flood stage.

  The Piney River Near Vernon
* At 4AM Sunday the stage was 8.4 feet.
* Action stage is 10.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall today.
* At 10.0 feet...Water begins to overflow the natural banks and inundates low
  lying areas along the river from Interstate 40 to near Pinewood, Nunnelly, and
  down to the Duck River.
