...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHERN VAN BUREN...SOUTHEASTERN
WARREN AND GRUNDY COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM CDT...

At 442 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Gruetli-Laager, or 18 miles south of McMinnville,
moving east at 45 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Gruetli-Laager, Altamont, Coalmont, Palmer, Beersheba Springs and
Fall Creek Falls State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
