TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
HEAVY RAINFALL OVERNIGHT AND TODAY MAY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING
OVER THE AREA. RAINFALL TOTALS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE WEST OF I-65...ARE FORECAST THROUGH
TONIGHT.
IN ADDITION TO HEAVY RAINFALL...SOME SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE
POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EVENING ACROSS THE AREA.
DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL LOOK TO BE THE PRIMARY
THREATS...ALONG WITH A FEW TORNADOES.
STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS AROUND 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH
WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING AND AFTERNOON BEFORE CALMING DOWN A BIT
LATER THIS EVENING.
