...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR WESTERN ROBERTSON...NORTHWESTERN
CHEATHAM AND EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM CST...

At 507 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Clarksville, moving east at 60 mph.

Nickel size hail, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, frequent cloud to
ground lightning strikes, and brief heavy rainfall will be possible
with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Clarksville, Coopertown, Pleasant View, Adams, Cedar
Hill and Cunningham.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
