DENSE FOG HAS VISIBILITY BELOW 1/4 MILE ACROSS NORTHERN AND
EASTERN PORTIONS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE. CONDITIONS SHOULD BEGIN TO
IMPROVE AROUND 8 AM. PLEASE USE CAUTION DURING THE THURSDAY
MORNING COMMUTE.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ON TOP OF ALREADY SATURATED
SOILS THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING MAY CAUSE FLOODING
ACROSS WESTERN PORTIONS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE AS EARLY AS FRIDAY
MORNING. LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND LOW LYING AREAS WILL BE THE MOST
FLOOD PRONE...ALONG WITH RISES ON AREA LAKES...RIVERS AND CREEKS.
PONDING OF WATER ON AREA ROADWAYS MAY ALSO BECOME A CONCERN. A
FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY
MORNING.
.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...
SPOTTERS AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ARE ENCOURAGED
TO REPORT HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
