COLDER AIR WILL MOVE INTO MID TENNESSEE THIS MORNING CHANGING THE
LINGERING LIGHT PRECIPITATION OVER TO A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW FOR
THE PLATEAU AND HIGHLAND RIM. THIS WILL OCCUR MAINLY AFTER 5 AM.
SOME AREAS MAY HAVE A SLIGHT DUSTING OF SNOW. THE HIGHEST
ELEVATIONS FROM JAMESTOWN TO MONTEREY COULD HAVE UP TO ONE HALF
INCH OF SNOW BY MID MORNING. SOME PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE IS ALSO
POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA.
TRAVELERS MAY ENCOUNTER SOME SLICK SPOTS ACROSS THE PLATEAU AND
HIGHLAND RIM FROM AROUND 6 AM TO 10 AM THIS MORNING AS LIGHT
WINTRY PRECIPITATION FALLS AND TEMPERATURES BRIEFLY DIP TO
FREEZING. CAUTION IS ADVISED...ESPECIALLY FOR BACK ROADS...BRIDGES
AND OVERPASSES.
