...The flood advisory continues for the Cumberland River...
Cumberland River At Clarksville AFFECTING Montgomery County
.Between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain and sleet and snow fell across the basin over
the last 36 hours along with pre-existing snow and ice melt, which has caused a
significant rise on the Cumberland River. The Cumberland River is cresting and
will fall below action stage by 4 AM Tuesday. The river will continue to slowly
fall Tuesday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory continues for
The Cumberland River At Clarksville
* Until Monday afternoon.
* At 7PM Sunday the stage was 40.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 46.0 feet.
* The river will continue to rise to near 40.9 feet by after midnight tonight.
* At 40.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river, including agricultural areas,
access points, and portions of Riverfront Park on North Riverside Dr begin to
be inundated. Water also backs up adjacent tributaries, including Bartons
Creek, Red River, West Fork Red River, and Yellow Creek.
