THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 23 CONTINUES.
SUMMARY...MODEST TORNADO POTENTIAL WILL CONTINUE AND LIKELY BE
HIGHEST ACROSS MIDDLE TN OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS BEFORE A LOWERING

DISCUSSION...SUBJECTIVE SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWS AS A
MOIST/INSTABILITY AXIS FROM NRN AL NEWD INTO MIDDLE TN AHEAD OF A
BROKEN BAND OF ORGANIZED STORMS. ALTHOUGH TEMPS ARE IN THE MID
70S...LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE REMAINS RELATIVELY TEMPERED WITH DEWPOINTS
IN THE MID 50S E OF BNA AND UPPER 50S OVER SRN MIDDLE TN.
NONETHELESS...A STRONG AND DEEP WLY WIND PROFILE WILL SUPPORT
ORGANIZED STORMS INCLUDING SUPERCELL STRUCTURES. ISOLD DMGG WINDS
AND MARGINALLY SEVERE HAIL APPEAR TO THE PREDOMINATE THREAT...BUT A
TORNADO OR TWO WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE WITH ANY LONGER-LIVED AND
STRONGER CIRCULATION EMBEDDED WITHIN THE CONVECTIVE BAND.
