NORTHEASTERN MAURY AND SOUTHEASTERN WILLIAMSON COUNTIES...
AT 1140 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN IN THE THOMPSONS
STATION AND SPRING HILL AREAS. RADAR ESTIMATES 1 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN
HAS FALLEN IN THE WARNED AREA OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF HOURS. WITH
MORE THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING AND MOVING INTO THE AREA...AN
ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT FEW
HOURS.
AT 1123 PM CDT...THE PUBLIC REPORTED FLOODING ON DUPLEX ROAD AT
INTERSTATE 65 IN SPRING HILL.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE
UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
