THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.
A CHANCE OF SNOW FLURRIES WILL PERSIST FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT. LITTLE IF ANY ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.
OTHERWISE...VERY COLD TEMPERATURES TODAY WITH TEMPERATURES FALLING
INTO THE UPPER 20S BY LATE AFTERNOON. WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH WILL
PRODUCE WINDCHILL VALUES OF 15 TO 20 DEGREES. DRESS WARMLY BY
WEARING LAYERS OF CLOTHING...AND A HAT AND GLOVES IF POSSIBLE.

INTO THE TEENS. SINCE TEMPERATURES WILL BE BELOW FREEZING FOR AN
EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME...EXPOSED WATER PIPES WILL BE VULNERABLE
TO FREEZING. PETS SHOULD BE BROUGHT INDOORS...ESPECIALLY DURING

PATCHES OF SNOW AND SLEET ARE FORECAST TO SWEEP ACROSS THE PLATEAU
AREA THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS. ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO ONE HALF INCH
WILL BE POSSIBLE. SOME SLICK SPOTS ON ROADWAYS MAY
DEVELOP...ESPECIALLY ALONG BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES...WHICH ARE ALWAYS
THE FIRST TO DEVELOP ICY PATCHES. A CHANCE OF SNOW FLURRIES WILL
PERSIST FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT ACROSS MUCH OF MIDDLE TN.
FOR THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU...SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS ARE FORECAST TO
LINGER INTO THIS EVENING...AND SINCE TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE
LOWER TO MID 20S...YOU CAN EXPECT SOME ROADS ALONG THE CUMBERLAND
PLATEAU TO KEEP ICY PATCHES INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.
