...LIGHT SNOW ACROSS THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU...
LATE THIS AFTERNOON...PATCHES OF LIGHT SNOW CONTINUED TO MOVE
OVER PARTS OF THE PLATEAU. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS UP TO ONE HALF INCH
WERE REPORTED FROM THE MONTEAGLE AREA...TO ALTAMONT...SPENCER AND
CROSSVILLE.
LOOK FOR SOME ADDITIONAL SNOW ACROSS THE PLATEAU INTO THE EARLY
EVENING. TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE LESS THAN ONE
INCH. TRAVELERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SOME SLICK AND SNOW COVERED
ROADS...ESPECIALLY BACK ROADS ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS.
SKIES WILL CLEAR OUT LATE THIS EVENING...BUT VERY COLD
TEMPERATURES WILL MEAN THAT SOME SLICK SPOTS COULD REMAIN ON ROADS
THROUGH THE NIGHT.
