A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE MOVING THROUGH MIDDLE TENNESSEE
THIS MORNING RESULTING IN RAPIDLY DROPPING TEMPERATURES AND GUSTY
NORTH WINDS. WIND GUST POTENTIAL UP TO 45 MPH THROUGH THE MID
MORNING HOURS. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DECREASE SLIGHTLY BY MID
MORNING BUT WILL STILL BE GUSTY UP TO 30 MPH.
THESE WINDY CONDITIONS COUPLED WITH VERY COLD OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL
RESULT IN WIND CHILLS IN THE -5 TO -10 DEGREE RANGE OVERNIGHT
TONIGHT AND INTO TUESDAY MORNING.
GUSTY WINDS OF THIS MAGNITUDE CAN BE A RISK TO HIGH PROFILE
VEHICLES...LOOSE OUTDOOR ITEMS...AND CAN RESULT IN DOWNED POWER
LINES OR FALLING TREES OR LIMBS. EXERCISE CAUTION IF NEEDING TO BE
OUTDOORS WHILE WINDY. ALSO...WIND CHILLS BELOW ZERO CAN RESULT IN
HYPOTHERMIA AND FROST BITE WITH PROLONGED EXPOSURE. MAKE NECESSARY
