...LIGHT SNOW POSSIBLE TONIGHT...
A FAST-MOVING COLD FRONT WILL BRING RAIN TO MIDDLE TENNESSEE TODAY
AND THIS EVENING. ONCE THE COLD FRONT PASSES EAST OF THE MID
STATE, TEMPERATURES WILL DROP QUICKLY, AND THE RAIN WILL MIX WITH
AND THEN CHANGE TO ALL SNOW BEFORE ENDING AFTER MIDNIGHT. LIGHT
SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE MAINLY IN AREAS EAST OF
INTERSTATE 65. LOCATIONS ALONG THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU CAN EXPECT A
HALF INCH TO JUST UNDER ONE INCH OF SNOW BEFORE THE PRECIPITATION
ENDS. HIGH TEMPERATURES ON SATURDAY WILL REACH THE UPPER 30'S TO
AROUND 40 DEGREES, SO ANY DRIVING PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE
SNOW SHOULD BE SHORT-LIVED.
