THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...
CUMBERLAND RIVER AT CLARKSVILLE AFFECTING MONTGOMERY COUNTY
. RAINFALL THAT OCCURRED TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT WAS RUNNING OFF INTO AREA
STREAMS AND RIVERS. THE CUMBERLAND RIVER AT CLARKSVILLE IS EXPECTED TO RISE ABOVE
ACTION STAGE TODAY...AND WILL REMAIN ABOVE ACTION STAGE THROUGH THURSDAY.

THE CUMBERLAND RIVER AT CLARKSVILLE
* AT 5 AM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE WAS 39.6 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 46.0 FEET.
* THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 44.5 FEET BY TOMORROW MORNING.
* AT 46.0 FEET...THE LEFT BANK OF THE CUMBERLAND RIVER OVERFLOWS AND FLOODING
BEGINS IN CLARKSVILLE.
* AT 40.0 FEET...WATER LEVELS APPROACH LOW LYING AREAS ALONG THE BANKS.
