.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.
THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL IN THE MID STATE
TONIGHT. HEAVY DOWNPOURS MAY RESULT IN PONDING OF WATER IN LOW
LYING AREAS AS WELL AS LOCALIZED FLOODING...ESPECIALLY IN TYPICALLY
FLOOD PRONE LOCATIONS...SUCH AS URBAN AREAS.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.
THE POSSIBILITY FOR HEAVY DOWNPOURS...ALONG WITH PONDING AND
LOCALIZED FLOODING...WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.
RAIN TOTALS BY NOON SATURDAY ARE EXPECTED TO AVERAGE BETWEEN ONE
AND ONE AND A HALF INCHES.
.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...
SPOTTERS AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ARE ENCOURAGED
TO REPORT HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
