THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TONIGHT
MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT
EASTERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE TONIGHT INTO SUNDAY...MAINLY ALONG AND
EAST OF A LINE FROM LAFAYETTE TO ALTAMONT. TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS
OF 2 TO 3 INCHES WITH LOCALLY UP TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS
THE FLOOD WATCH AREA...WITH THE HIGHEST RAINFALL AMOUNTS OVER THE
SOUTHERN CUMBERLAND PLATEAU COUNTIES. FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS
AND OTHER TYPICALLY FLOOD PRONE LOCATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE...AND
AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS WILL CONTINUE TO RISE.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS WILL CONTINUE RISING EARLY NEXT WEEK DUE
TO THE WIDESPREAD RAINFALL OVER THE WEEKEND. FLOODING WILL BE
POSSIBLE IN SOME LOCATIONS NEAR AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS.

AREA RIVERS WILL CONTINUE RISING EARLY NEXT WEEK DUE TO THE
WIDESPREAD RAINFALL OVER THE WEEKEND. ALTHOUGH MOST RIVERS ARE
EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW FLOOD STAGE...A FEW SUCH AS THE TENNESSEE
RIVER MAY RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY MONDAY.
