THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
AS COLDER AIR MOVES INTO THE MID STATE TONIGHT...RAIN SHOWERS
WILL CHANGE TO SNOW SHOWERS. ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE...WITH A
DUSTING FOR MUCH OF MID TENNESSEE. HOWEVER,,,ALONG THE CUMBERLAND
PLATEAU WHERE A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN
EFFECT...ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE...WITH
3 INCH AMOUNTS POSSIBLE FOR THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS FROM JAMESTOWN
TO MONTEREY. HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP LATER
TONIGHT... ESPECIALLY FOR THE PLATEAU.
IN ADDITION TO THE SNOWFALL POTENTIAL...A WIND ADVISORY IS IN
EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE MIDSTATE UNTIL MIDNIGHT. WINDS OF 15 TO 30
MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE. DIFFICULT DRIVING
CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED...PARTICULARLY FOR DRIVERS OF HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...
SNOW SHOWERS AND POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL
CONTINUE FOR THE PLATEAU INTO WEDNESDAY. TOTAL SNOWFALL FOR THE
PLATEAU WILL RANGE FROM 1 TO AS MUCH AS 3 INCHES.

SPOTTERS AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ARE ENCOURAGED
TO REPORT ANY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
