MARGINAL/LOCALIZED AND GENERALLY CONFINED TO SLOW-MOVING CONVECTION
FROM CNTRL KY INTO ERN TN.
DISCUSSION...TSTM WHICH WAS A SUPERCELL EARLIER IN GREEN/ADAIR
COUNTIES KY HAS WEAKENED SUBSTANTIALLY IN THE PAST HALF HOUR...WHILE
MID-LEVEL REFLECTIVITY CORES HAVE ALSO SUBSIDED WITH CONVECTION
MOVING EWD FROM WW 294 INTO 295. THIS APPEARS TO BE IN RESPONSE TO
STRONGER FORCED ASCENT SHIFTING E WITH ENTRAINMENT OF INCREASED
SUBSIDENCE/DRYING BEHIND THE SHORT WAVE TROUGH AXIS. ALTHOUGH WEAK
LOW-LEVEL SHEAR IS EVIDENT IN LVX/MRX VWP DATA...SUFFICIENT
DEEP-LAYER FLOW STILL EXISTS FOR AN ORGANIZED STORM OR TWO CAPABLE
OF ISOLATED DAMAGING WINDS/SEVERE HAIL.
