THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR ALL OF MIDDLE
TENNESSEE TONIGHT AS A STRONG COLD FRONT APPROACHES. DAMAGING
WINDS WITH A SQUALL LINE WILL BE THE MAIN CONCERN. A FEW TORNADOES
MAY SPIN UP ALONG THE LINE.
WINDS WILL ALSO BE STRONG AND GUSTY OUTSIDE THE THUNDERSTORMS.
WIND GUSTS OVER 35 MPH ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON...WITH WIND
GUSTS OVER 45 MPH AT TIMES TONIGHT. WIND ADVISORIES HAVE BEEN
POSTED FOR THE MID STATE...BEGINNING AT NOON FOR AREAS WEST OF THE
PLATEAU...AND BEGINNING AT 6 PM FOR THE PLATEAU.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...
THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR AREAS EAST OF
INTERSTATE 65 WEDNESDAY MORNING. WINDY CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST
WITH A WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR THE MID STATE UNTIL 6 PM
WEDNESDAY.
A FEW FLURRIES OR SNOW SHOWERS MAY OCCUR AS THE STRONG WEATHER
SYSTEM MOVES AWAY WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
A CLIPPER SYSTEM MAY BRING SOME MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATION THURSDAY
NIGHT...MAINLY FOR THE PLATEAU.
