THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL MAY OCCUR FROM SATURDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.
TOTAL RAINFALL ACCUMULATION AMOUNTS DURING THIS PERIOD WILL
GENERALLY RANGE FROM UP TO 5 INCHES ACROSS WESTERN PORTIONS TO
AROUND TWO INCHES ACROSS EASTERN PORTIONS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
THESE RAINS WILL COME ON THE HEELS OF SEVERAL PREVIOUS DAYS OF
RAINFALL...WHICH WILL INCREASE THE POTENTIAL FOR RUN OFF AND
LOCALIZED FLOODING... ESPECIALLY IN LOW LYING...POORLY DRAINED...
AREAS...ALONG WITH THE POTENTIALLY OF FLOODING TO THE LARGER CREEKS
AND RIVERS ACROSS THE MID STATE.
.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...
SPOTTERS AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ARE ENCOURAGED
TO REPORT HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
IN NASHVILLE.
