ANOTHER TORNADO WAS CONFIRMED BY NWS DAMAGE SURVEY TEAMS NEAR
BETHPAGE ON MONDAY. THIS BRINGS THE TOTAL NUMBER OF CONFIRMED
TORNADOES FROM THE JANUARY 30 2013 SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK TO 17.
DAMAGE SURVEY CREWS ARE OUT IN THE FIELD ONCE AGAIN TODAY AND
ADDITIONAL TORNADOES MAY BE CONFIRMED.

AN NWS STORM SURVEY CONFIRMED AN EF0 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN IN
EASTERN SUMNER COUNTY AROUND 4 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF BETHPAGE.
THE TORNADO SNAPPED OR UPROOTED NUMEROUS TREES IN ALL DIRECTIONS
ALONG WOLF HILL ROAD AND GRAVEL HILL ROAD...AND ONE SMALL SHED WAS
DESTROYED. THE TORNADO LIFTED IN EXTREME NORTHWEST TROUSDALE
COUNTY.
DAMAGE SURVEY CREWS REMAIN OUT IN THE FIELD ASSESSING NEW DAMAGE
REPORTS RECEIVED TODAY FROM THIS AREA...AND THE TORNADO PATH MAY
BE EXTENDED FURTHER TO THE SOUTHWEST.
