42.0 DEGREES WHICH IS 4.3 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE AVERAGE HIGH
WAS 50.8 DEGREES AND THE AVERAGE LOW WAS 33.2 DEGREES.
THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE DURING THE MONTH WAS 73 DEGREES ON THE
30TH WHICH BROKE THE RECORD FOR THE DATE SET PREVIOUSLY IN 2002
AND 1916 WITH 70 DEGREES.
THE COLDEST TEMPERATURE DURING THE MONTH WAS 18 DEGREES ON THE 22ND.
A HIGHEST DAILY MINIMUM TEMPERATURE RECORD PREVIOUSLY SET IN 1890 WAS
TIED ON THE 11TH WHEN THE OVERNIGHT LOW WAS 60 DEGREES.
A HIGHEST DAILY MINIMUM TEMPERATURE RECORD OF 64 DEGREES PREVIOUSLY
SET IN 1890 WAS BROKEN ON THE 12TH WHEN THE OVERNIGHT LOW WAS 65

BY THE LARGEST OUTBREAK OF TORNADOES EVER RECORDED IN THE MONTH
OF JANUARY. A TOTAL OF 15 TORNADOES HAVE BEEN DOCUMENTED THUS
FAR...AND IT IS LIKELY THAT AS MANY AS 20 TORNADOES MAY HAVE
OCCURRED IN THE OUTBREAK. THIS OUTBREAK COULD END UP THE 2ND
LARGEST OUTBREAK ON RECORD IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE SURPASSED ONLY BY
APRIL 3RD 1974...WHEN 24 TORNADOES STRUCK MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

CLARKSVILLE'S TEMPERATURE AVERAGED 39.4 DEGREES WHICH IS 3.6
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE AVERAGE HIGH WAS 48.9 DEGREES AND THE
AVEAGE LOW WAS 29.8 DEGREES.
THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE DURING THE MONTH WAS 72 DEGREES ON THE
