...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 01/30/13 TORNADOES
SIX ADDITIONAL TORNADOES WERE CONFIRMED FROM THE SEVERE WEATHER
EVENT ON THE MORNING OF JANUARY 30TH 2013. THIS INCLUDES THREE EF0
TORNADOES AND ONE EF1 TORNADO IN SUMNER COUNTY...ONE EF1 TORNADO
IN ROBERTSON COUNTY AND ONE EF0 TORNADO IN CHEATHAM COUNTY.

AN EF0 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF HWY 31 AND
SHUTE LANE. NUMEROUS TREES WERE UPROOTED OR SNAPPED WITH SOME
TREES FALLING ON HOMES. SEVERAL HOMES HAD MINOR ROOF DAMAGE. THE
MOST SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE OCCURRED IN THE FAIRVIEW PLANTATION AND
BAYPOINT SUBDIVISIONS. THE TORNADO TRAVELED 10.3 MILES AND
CONTINUED TO UPROOT AND SNAP TREES AND CAUSE MINOR ROOF DAMAGE
ALONG THE PATH UNTIL IT LIFTED NEAR BLEDSOE CREEK STATE PARK.

NUMEROUS TREES WERE SNAPPED AND UPROOTED...AND SOME HOMES HAD
MINOR ROOF DAMAGE. AS THE TORNADO TRAVELED 3.5 MILES TREES WERE
SNAPPED AND UPROOTED UNTIL THE TORNADO LIFTED ALONG UPPER STATION
CAMP ROAD.

CAUSED NUMEROUS SNAPPED AND UPROOTED TREES ONE MILE NORTH OF THE
HWY 25 AND HWY 31 JUNCTION. THIS TORNADO WAS THE CONTINUATION OF
THE ROBERSTON COUNTY EF1 TORNADO.

ACROSS POSSUM TROT ROAD UPROOTING AND SNAPPING SEVERAL TREES. ONCE
THE TORNADO CROSSED THE INTERSECTION OF HWY 76 AND GUM STATION
ROAD MORE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE OCCURRED TO NUMEROUS HOMES AND A
BARN. MOST HOMES HAD MINOR ROOF DAMAGE WHILE A FEW HAD SUBSTANTIAL
ROOF DAMAGE. HUNDREDS OF TREES WERE UPROOTED AND SNAPPED ALONG GUM
STATION ROAD...BETHLEHEM ROAD AND BAGGETT ROAD. THE TORNADO CAUSED
SMALL AREAS OF SNAPPED AND UPROOTED TREES UNTIL IT CROSSED OVER
INTERSTATE 65 AT MILE MARKER 113 MOVING INTO SUMNER COUNTY.

CIRCLE AND STRATTON BLVD. SOME MINOR ROOF DAMAGE OCCURRED AND
SEVERAL TREES WERE UPROOTED AND SNAPPED ALONG THE ONE QUARTER MILE
TRACK BEFORE IT LIFTED.
