BASED ON A SURVEY COMPLETED BY COFFEE COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
A TORNADO HAS BEEN CONFIRMED NEAR MANCHESTER FROM THE EARLY MORNING
STORMS OF JANUARY 30TH. INITIAL DAMAGE CONSISTING OF SNAPPED TREES
AND A DESTROYED SCOREBOARD WAS NOTED AT THE COFFEE COUNTY MIDDLE
SCHOOL. INTERMITTENT DAMAGE...CONSISTING OF DOZENS OF SNAPPED TREES
AND DAMAGED ROOFS...CONTINUED FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 MILES TO THE
NORTHEAST. THE LAST EVIDENCE OF DAMAGE WAS ON SHINING STAR LANE
JUST OFF RAGSDALE ROAD.
