SUNDAY FOR AREAS WEST OF THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU...
.A POWERFUL HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE MID STATE
THIS WEEKEND AND IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE RECORD HEAT.
THE CENTER OF THE HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE IS EXPECTED TO MOVE
SOUTHEAST OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE BY EARLY NEXT WEEK AND ALLOW
MOISTURE FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO TO START WORKING ITS WAY BACK
INTO OUR AREA. THIS SHOULD HELP PROVIDE AT LEAST SOME SCATTERED
CLOUDS AND...PERHAPS...A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS.

* IMPACTS...HEAT RELATED ILLNESS SUCH AS HEAT EXHAUSTION OR HEAT
STROKE ARE A REAL THREAT. DEHYDRATION CAN OCCUR QUICKLY. THE
