...HEAT ADVISORY FOR MOST OF THE MID STATE UNTIL SUNDAY MORNING...
...A LARGE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE SOUTHEAST WILL CONTINUE
PRODUCING HOT TEMPERATURES OVER THE AREA INTO THE WEEKEND.
AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES BETWEEN 100 AND 103 WILL BE COMMON.
THE COMBINATION OF TRIPLE DIGIT TEMPERATURES AND HUMIDITY WILL
PRODUCE HEAT INDEX VALUES AROUND 105 DEGREES EACH AFTERNOON. IN
ADDITION, OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL DROP ONLY INTO THE MID 70'S, WITH
LITTLE RELIEF FROM THE MUGGY AIR UNTIL COOLER TEMPERATURES BEGIN
