WHITE COUNTIES...
THE ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS HAVE BECOME CONDUCIVE FOR THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT OVER EASTERN PARTS OF THE MID STATE TODAY...SOME OF WHICH
WILL BE STRONG...AND CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL TO PENNY SIZE. THERE
IS ALSO AT LEAST A SMALL CHANCE THAT SOME STORMS THIS AFTERNOON
COULD BECOME SEVERE...AND PRODUCE HAIL OF LARGER SIZE.
BY LATE MORNING...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME STRONG...PUSHING NORTHWARD OUT OF
ALABAMA INTO SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE. THESE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
CONTINUE MOVING NORTH AT 25 MPH.
PENNY SIZE HAIL IS EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS.
