THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TONIGHT
SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU WILL END THIS
EVENING...BUT SLICK ROAD CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE FOR PARTS OF THE
PLATEAU AND SURROUNDING AREAS THROUGH THE NIGHT AS TEMPERATURES
FALL INTO THE 20S.
AREAS OF FREEZING FOG WILL DEVELOP ON THE PLATEAU LATE IN THE
NIGHT. THIS COULD CAUSE A THIN LAYER OF ICE TO FORM ON
ROADS...ESPECIALLY BRIDGES...CAUSING ADDITIONAL TRAVEL PROBLEMS.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...
PATCHY FREEZING FOG ALONG WITH LEFTOVER SNOW COVER ON THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU MAY CAUSE SOME SLICK ROADS EARLY MONDAY MORNING
FOR THE PLATEAU AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
OTHERWISE...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...
SPOTTERS AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ARE ENCOURAGED
TO REPORT ANY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
IN NASHVILLE.
