THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...
THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MOST OF
MIDDLE TENNESSEE AND A SLIGHT RISK FOR THE PLATEAU AND ADJACENT AREAS.
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE POSSIBLE.
THE GREATEST SEVERE THREAT WILL BE ALONG THE TENNESSEE RIVER LATE
THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. THIS AREA COULD HAVE VERY LARGE
HAIL THE SIZE OF GOLFBALLS...POWERFUL WINDS AND STRONG TORNADOES.
THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE EASTWARD ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH THE
EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. THE STORMS WILL GRADUALLY WEAKEN...BUT
COULD STILL POSE A SIGNIFICANT SEVERE WEATHER THREAT ACROSS THE
ENTIRE AREA.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...
THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS COULD FLARE UP AGAIN ON THURSDAY...MAINLY EAST OF
INTERSTATE 65.
.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...
REPORTS FROM TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS WILL LIKELY BE NEEDED FROM
LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT.
