THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 269
CONTINUES.
ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED ACROSS PARTS OF
WW269...PRIMARILY ALONG THE NC/SC BORDER. THIS ACTIVITY HAS EVOLVED
WITHIN A MODERATELY UNSTABLE AIRMASS THAT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH
SHEARED TO SUPPORT ORGANIZED ROTATING UPDRAFTS. ONE OR MORE MINOR
DISTURBANCES MAY BE EMBEDDED WITHIN DEEP NWLY FLOW FROM THE OH
VALLEY INTO THE CAROLINAS...HOWEVER WEAK WARM ADVECTION MAY
PARTIALLY EXPLAIN THE ELONGATED ZONE OF CONVECTION THAT STRETCHES
NW-SE ALONG THE FRONT SIDE OF RIDGE AXIS. GIVEN THE BROADER ZONE OF
WARM ADVECTION AND MOIST/BUOYANT NWLY INFLOW...IT APPEARS NEW
CONVECTION MAY EVOLVE UPSTREAM WELL INTO THE EVENING HOURS.
