CUMBERLAND RIVER AT CLARKSVILLE AFFECTING MONTGOMERY COUNTY
. WATER LEVELS WILL REMAIN ELEVATED ON THE CUMBERLAND RIVER AT CLARKSVILLE FOR AT LEAST SEVERAL DAYS. RECENT HEAVY RAINFALL...AND EXPECTED RAINFALL OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS WILL KEEP LEVELS ABOVE ACTION STAGE.

THE CUMBERLAND RIVER AT CLARKSVILLE
* UNTIL THURSDAY MORNING.
* AT 3 AM SUNDAY THE STAGE WAS 39.5 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 46.0 FEET.
* THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 44.3 FEET BY WEDNESDAY EVENING.
* AT 46.0 FEET...THE LEFT BANK OF THE CUMBERLAND RIVER OVERFLOWS AND FLOODING
BEGINS IN CLARKSVILLE.
* AT 40.0 FEET...WATER LEVELS APPROACH LOW LYING AREAS ALONG THE BANKS.
