SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY...
..WINTER STORM WATCH FOR NORTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE MIDNIGHT
SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY...
.A SURFACE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE DEVELOPING OVER THE
TEXAS GULF COASTAL AREA THIS MORNING. THE LOW WILL MOVE ALONG THE
GULF COAST TONIGHT AND MONDAY. COLD AIR WILL REMAIN IN PLACE
ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE AS THE SYSTEM SPREADS MOISTURE NORTHWARD
ACROSS THE AREA. THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR A SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL
ACROSS MOST OF THE MID STATE FROM SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY.
POTENTIAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS...GENERALLY ONE TO THREE INCHES
OVER NORTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...AND THREE TO SIX INCHES OVER
SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
IN ADDITION...SOME MORE SNOW IS FORECAST MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY
WHICH WILL ADD MORE ACCUMULATION TO THE SNOW TOTALS BROUGHT BY
THE WINTER STORM.
