THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR A SIGNIFICANT SNOW EVENT FOR MIDDLE
TENNESSEE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY AS A SURFACE LOW IS FORECAST
TO DEVELOP OFF THE SOUTHEAST TEXAS COAST AND MOVE ALONG THE GULF
COAST WHILE SPREADING SNOW ACROSS THE TENNESSEE VALLEY...INCLUDING
MIDDLE TENNESSEE. THE POTENTIAL FOR THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL EXISTS
ACROSS SOUTHERN AREAS OF THE MID STATE WHERE FOUR INCHES OF SNOW
IS POSSIBLE...WITH TWO TO FOUR INCHES POSSIBLE SOUTH OF INTERSTATE
40 AND ONE TO TWO INCHES NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40. EXACT AMOUNTS
FOR THIS EVENT WILL DEPEND ON THE FINAL STORM TRACK.
