THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 15 CONTINUES.
AN ISOLATED THREAT FOR TORNADOES ALONG WITH WIND DAMAGE AND HAIL
WILL BE POSSIBLE EWD ACROSS SCNTRL KY THIS EVENING. A NEW TORNADO
WATCH WILL BE LIKELY TO THE EAST OF WW 15.
AN INTENSE SQUALL-LINE WITH SEVERAL WELL-ORGANIZED BOW ECHOES IS
CURRENTLY MOVE QUICKLY EWD ACROSS WRN KY. THE LINE IS ALONG A WARM
FRONT WHICH EXTENDS EWD ACROSS SRN KY. LOW-LEVEL SHEAR PROFILES ARE
ENHANCED ALONG THE BOUNDARY WITH THE HOPKINSVILLE WSR-88D VWP
SHOWING 0-3 KM STORM RELATIVE HELICITIES IN THE 500 TO 600 M2/S2
RANGE. THIS ALONG WITH LOW LCL HEIGHTS SHOULD BE FAVORABLE FOR
TORNADOES AS THE SQUALL-LINE MOVES INTO SCNTRL KY OVER THE NEXT FEW
HOURS. IN ADDITION...A FORWARD SPEED OF THE LINE AT 40 TO 50 KT
ALONG WITH 50 KT OF FLOW JUST ABOVE THE SFC WILL LIKELY RESULT IN
WIND DAMAGE.
