THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

A LOW PRESSURE AREA OVER THE GULF OF MEXICO IS EXPECTED TO SPREAD
A WINTRY MIX OF LIGHT SNOW...FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET...INTO THE AREA
OVERNIGHT. ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD BE LIGHT. HOWEVER...MOTORISTS
SHOULD USE CAUTION IF PRECIPITATION BEGINS TO FALL...SINCE EVEN
SMALL AMOUNTS OF FREEZING RAIN CAN PRODUCE HAZARDOUS DRIVING
CONDITIONS. BRIDGES...OVERPASSES...AND RURAL ROADS...WILL BE MOST
VULNERABLE TO GLAZING.
MORE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET AT WEATHER.GOV OR
BY LISTENING TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO.

FRIDAY MORNING...EXPECT A WINTRY MIX TO CONTINUE...WITH ADDITIONAL
LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATION...GENERALLY A TENTH OF AN INCH OR LESS.
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF AROUND ONE HALF INCH ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. SOME
ROADS MAY REMAIN SLICK AND HAZARDOUS...AS TEMPERATURES ARE
EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW FREEZING THROUGH 1000 AM.
LOOK FOR ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOWFALL FRIDAY NIGHT AS AN UPPER LEVEL
IMPULSE MOVES ACROSS THE AREA. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH
ARE POSSIBLE AREA WIDE...WITH UP TO 2 INCHES ALONG THE PLATEAU AND
THE HIGHLAND RIM.
AFTER THE PASSAGE OF AN ARCTIC FRONT ON MONDAY...MUCH COLDER
CONDITIONS WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE MID STATE. FOR THE PERIOD
TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...LOOK FOR VERY COLD TEMPERATURES AND
SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS.

MORNING...SOME MELTING AND REFREEZING OF WATER ON AREA ROADWAYS
COULD CAUSE SLIPPERY SPOTS TO DEVELOP...ESPECIALLY ALONG LESS
TRAVELED AND UNTREATED HIGHWAYS.
