THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TONIGHT
A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE GULF OF MEXICO WILL LIKELY PRODUCE
FREEZING RAIN OVER SOUTHERN PARTS OF THE MID STATE OVERNIGHT...
ESPECIALLY IN COUNTIES NEAR THE ALABAMA BORDER. SOME LIGHT
ACCUMULATIONS OF ICE ARE EXPECTED...GENERALLY A TENTH OF AN INCH
OR LESS. THE FREEZING RAIN WILL COAT EXPOSED SURFACES OVERNIGHT
AND WILL PROBABLY MAKE ROADS SLIPPERY...ESPECIALLY ALONG BRIDGES
AND OVERPASSES.

IMPULSE MOVES ACROSS THE AREA. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH
ARE POSSIBLE AREA WIDE...WITH UP TO 2 INCHES ALONG THE PLATEAU AND
THE HIGHLAND RIM.
AFTER THE PASSAGE OF AN ARCTIC FRONT ON MONDAY...MUCH COLDER
CONDITIONS WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE MID STATE. FOR THE PERIOD

MORE LIGHT SNOW AND SLEET ARE EXPECTED FRIDAY MORNING... WITH
SEVERAL TENTHS OF AN INCH OF ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE. SINCE
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE IN THE 20S OVER THE NORTH FRIDAY
MORNING...SOME MELTING AND REFREEZING OF WATER ON AREA ROADWAYS
