THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...
HARPETH RIVER AT BELLEVUE AFFECTING DAVIDSON AND WILLIAMSON COUNTIES
HARPETH RIVER AT FRANKLIN AFFECTING WILLIAMSON COUNTY
.HEAVY RAINFALL HAS CAUSED AREA RIVERS TO RISE...AND WATER LEVELS WILL
REMAIN HIGH THROUGH THURSDAY. LEVELS ON THE HARPETH RIVER FROM FRANKLIN TO
BELLEVUE ARE HIGH BUT WILL REMAIN BELOW FLOOD STAGE.

* UNTIL FRIDAY MORNING.
* AT 08PM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE WAS 29.0 FEET AND RISING.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 40.0 FEET.
* THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 35.5 FEET TOMORROW EVENING.
* AT 34.0 FEET...IN DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE WATER REACHES THE SECOND GRASSY AREA OF
THE RIVERFRONT LANDING AND COVERS MOST OF THE ACCESS AREA ON THE EAST SIDE OF
THE RIVER NEAR L P FIELD. IN EAST NASHVILLE WATER REACHES DIRT TRAILS IN THE
SHELBY BOTTOMS PARK AREA.
* AT 30.0 FEET...IN DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE THE FIRST GRASSY AREA OF THE RIVERFRONT
LANDING...AND THE ACCESS POINT ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE RIVER NEAR L P FIELD
ARE INUNDATED.
* AT 25.0 FEET...IN DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE THE RIVERFRONT AREAS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE
RIVER BEGIN TO BE INUNDATED.

* THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 23.0 FEET TOMORROW AFTERNOON.
* AT 24.0 FEET...FLOOD WATERS APPROACH LOW LYING PORTIONS OF HURRICANE CREEK
ROAD NEAR HURRICANE MILLS...AND OTHER ROADS IN THE AREA ARE FLOODED INCLUDING
TUMBLING CREEK ROAD. AGRICULTURAL LAND ALONG THE RIVER IS EXTENSIVELY FLOODED
FROM BUCKSNORT...TO TAYLORTOWN AND CEDAR GROVE.
* AT 22.0 FEET...PORTIONS OF TUMBLING CREEK ROAD EAST OF HIGHWAY 13 ARE FLOODED
AND MAY BE IMPASSABLE.
* AT 20.0 FEET...PORTIONS OF TUMBLING CREEK ROAD EAST OF HIGHWAY 13 BEGIN TO
FLOOD AND THERE IS SIGNIFICANT FLOODING OF AGRICULTURAL LAND ALONG THE RIVER
FROM BUCKSNORT...TO TAYLORTOWN AND CEDAR GROVE.

* AT 24.0 FEET...FLOODING WILL AFFECT AREAS ALONG THE HARPETH RIVER FROM
FRANKLIN TO BELLEVUE. IN FRANKLIN, WATER WILL REACH THE CITY PARK, 4TH STREET,
AND PORTIONS OF 431.
* AT 23.0 FEET...WATER BEGINS TO INUNDATE LOW LYING AREAS ALONG THE BANKS...
INCLUDING THE NURSERY AT HILLSBORO ROAD AND FULTON GREER LANE.
* AT 22.0 FEET...FLOOD WATERS REACH HIGHWAY 431 (LEWISBURG PIKE) IN FRANKLIN.
