TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL AND EASTERN ARKANSAS
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS
SOUTHERN INDIANA
WESTERN KENTUCKY
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI
NORTHERN MISSISSIPPI
WESTERN TENNESSEE
EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON FROM 725 AM UNTIL 300
PM CDT.
TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.
THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 115 STATUTE
MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 20 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF
PINE BLUFF ARKANSAS TO 35 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST OF EVANSVILLE

THREAT FOR DAMAGING WINDS...HAIL AND TORNADOES. UPSCALE GROWTH INTO
A QLCS IS ANTICIPATED LATER TODAY WITH THE PRIMARY HAZARD
TRANSITIONING TO PRIMARILY DAMAGING WINDS.
