SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MIDDLE TN
INTO THE EVENING HOURS. THE STRONGEST OF THE STORMS WILL BE
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING SMALL HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND HOURLY
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 2 INCHES. MOVEMENT OF THE PRECIPITATION
WILL CONTINUE TO BE TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT AROUND 20 MPH. AN
OVERALL DECREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY IS EXPECTED AS WE MOVE
THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS. MOTORISTS HOWEVER...IF ENCOUNTERING ANY OF THE
STRONGER STORMS...SHOULD SLOW DOWN AS THE PONDING OF WATER ON
ROADWAYS CAN BE EXPECTED. THE PRIMARY THREAT FOR THE STRONGEST
STORMS WILL MAINLY BE ACROSS SOUTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL PORTIONS
OF THE MID STATE.
