WILLIAMSON COUNTIES...
AT 1056 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING
A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...PUSHING ACROSS WESTERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
SHORTLY BEFORE 1100 PM...THE LINE OF STORMS EXTENDED FROM JUST WEST OF
WAVERLY...TO JUST WEST OF LINDEN...TO JUST EAST OF SAVANNAH. INDIVIDUAL
STORMS ALONG THIS LINE WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH...WHILE THE LINE
WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.
WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS...WHICH COULD
EASILY TOPPLE SHALLOW ROOTED TREES AND BLOW DOWN BRANCHES.
