THE THREAT FOR SEVERE STORMS CAPABLE OF LOCALLY DAMAGING WINDS AND
PERHAPS A TORNADO OR TWO IS INCREASING ACROSS THE DISCUSSION AREA
AND A WW WILL BE REQUIRED.
STRONG TO SEVERE TSTMS ONGOING ALONG INTENSIFYING COLD FRONT WITHIN
TORNADO WATCH 746 ARE EXPECTED TO APPROACH THE ERN EDGE OF THE WATCH
AREA BETWEEN 03-04Z. ADDITIONAL TSTMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP IN
AN ELONGATED SW-NE ORIENTED BAND FROM LIT-PAH WHERE LOW-LEVEL
CONFLUENCE AND MOISTURE FLUX IS ENHANCED ALONG 40-50+ KT LLJ AXIS.
WHILE CONVECTIVE INSTABILITY WILL REMAIN LIMITED /I.E. MLCAPE LESS
THAN 500 J PER KG/...THE PRESENCE OF STRONG AMBIENT WIND FIELD AND
RESULTING LARGE CLOCKWISE-CURVED HODOGRAPHS SUGGEST A RISK FOR
EMBEDDED SUPERCELL AND BOWING STRUCTURES CAPABLE OF DAMAGING WINDS
AND A COUPLE OF TORNADOES.
