...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE, TN HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR
THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...
MILL CREEK NEAR ANTIOCH AFFECTING DAVIDSON COUNTY
.HEAVY RAIN IN THE MILL CREEK BASIN HAS CAUSED THE WATER LEVEL TO RISE...AND TO
CONTINUE RISING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. EXPECT FLOODING ALONG MILL CREEK IN THE
NASHVILLE METRO AREA FROM NOLENSVILLE...TO ANTIOCH...TO WOODBINE.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
AVOID FLOODED AREAS ALONG THE RIVER...AND MOVE PERSONAL BELONGINGS TO HIGHER
GROUND. NEVER DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADS AS THE DEPTH OF WATER MAY BE TOO GREAT
TO PASS...EVEN IN TRUCKS OR SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES. IF YOU COME ACROSS A FLOODED
ROAD...TURN AROUND DON'T DROWN.

THE MILL CREEK NEAR ANTIOCH
* FROM THIS AFTERNOON UNTIL LATE TONIGHT.
* AT 12PM SATURDAY THE STAGE WAS...12.0 FEET AND RISING.
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 14.0 FEET.
* FORECAST TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE TO RISE
TO NEAR 16.8 FEET BY THIS EVENING. THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD LATE
TONIGHT.
* AT 19.0 FEET...WATER BEGINS TO APPROACH FRANKLIN LIMESTONE ROAD...AND THE ROAD
MAY BE SUBJECT TO CLOSURE AT HIGHER RIVER LEVELS.
* AT 18.0 FEET...WATER BEGINS TO FLOOD THE LOW LYING PORTIONS OF THE PARKING LOT
AT THE ROADWAY TRUCKING CENTER.
