AT 303 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A
LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS THAT EXTENDED FROM SPRINGFIELD...TO
ASHLAND CITY...TO FAIRVIEW...TO MERIWETHER LEWIS NATIONAL MONUMENT...INTO
NORTHWEST LAWRENCE COUNTY. THE LINE IS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH WHILE
STORMS WITHIN THE LINE ARE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.
ALTHOUGH A STORM OR TWO COULD BRIEFLY BECOME SEVERE...HALF INCH SIZE
HAIL...AND WINDS 40 TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED TO ACCOMPANY THIS LINE OF
STORMS.
