...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS TO MOVE ACROSS WESTERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE EARLY
THIS MORNING...
AT 300 AM...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS CROSSING THE TENNESSEE
RIVER...IN EXTREME WESTERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE. THE STORMS WILL CROSS
MUCH OF WESTERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE BY 600 AM...A FEW OF WHICH MAY CONTAIN
WIND GUSTS OF 50 TO 55 MPH...AND HAIL. IN ADDITION...THESE STORMS
WILL PRODUCE AN IMPRESSIVE DISPLAY OF LIGHTNING...AS WELL AS
BRIEF TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS...WHICH WILL LIKELY PRODUCE PONDING OF
WATER IN LOW LYING POORLY DRAINED AREAS...AND UNFAVORABLE DRIVING
CONDITIONS.
